Bingham Family Vineyards award winning wines

We are so excited about the awards that our wines have won in 2016. Now we have more from the 2016 San Francisco International Wine Competition. We sent four wines, and they all came home with medals.

Bingham Family Vineyards 2014 Dirt Farmer

Dirt Farmer

Tempranillo, Merlot, Dolcetto, and Cabernet Sauvignon are blended to creat flavors of blackberry and dried figs as bold and adventurous as the Texas High Plains

The Story

The French call it terroir. In Texas, we call it dirt. Nurturing the soil, the farmer encourages healthy vines, producing fruit which becomes wonderful wine.

Awards

Silver medal, 2016 San Francisco International Wine Competition

2014 Cloudburst Bingham Family Vineyards

2014 Cloudburst

This white wine is a smooth blend of Trebbiano, Vermentino, Roussanne, Viognier, and Chardonnay with a medium body ending with a hint of apple. A six time award winner.

The Story

The High Plains has a very dry climate, but when rain comes it very often comes quickly and yet in a very refreshing way.

This Tempranillo has been aged a year in oak and has flavors of plum and cinnamon spice. Wonderful for drinking now or for stocking your cellar. Tempranillo has a heritage as the noble grape of Spain. Texans have learned to grow the grape well in our state. ~ A wine club member exclusive wine
