SUMMARY:Celebrate National White Wine Day 2023
DESCRIPTION:With Bingham estate wines\, the choice is yours.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow can Bingham have so many choices of great white wine? It is because we grow ten white grape varieties: Albariño\, Gewürztraminer\, Malvasia Bianca\, Marsanne\, Moscato Giallo\, Roussanne\, Sémillon\, Trebbiano\, Vermentino\, and Viognier. \n\n\n\nI included our two rose’ wines in this photo for you to consider for your summer drinking in hot weather as well as all of our white wines. There is also a bottle of our unreleased Reserve Semillon. But the rest of the wines are currently available for our club members\, and many to all of our friends.  \n\n\n\nWe have oaked as well as unoaked whites. Some of our white wines are oaked to develop a deep level of richness with lingering notes of vanilla and spice. With live music and a more sip’n stroll feel\, but with the same incredible tasting and learning experience. \n\n\n\nFor August\, it will be Albariño.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 2023 series is sure going to leave an impression about everything that is great about #txwine and the people and customers that comprise it. Bring some friends and have a tasting experience like no other. The following dates and themes below are the 2023 schedule. Included with each ticket purchased is a $10 credit towards any food purchased at Rex’s Creole Kitchen that day. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe tasting will include several Albariño wines including Bingham Family Vineyards 2021 Albarino  which won best in class at the 2023 San Antonio Rodeo Wine Competition. DESCRIPTION:As fall arrives\, celebrate National Red Wine Day every August 28th.  \n\n\n\nCelebrate by stocking up on authentic Texas red wine. \n\n\n\nHere are some of our estate red wines available to you. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nChoose between our large selection of 100% estate red wines because…we grow all of these red grapes. \n\n\n\nAt Bingham we have experienced vineyard laborers cultivating a range of red grape varieties\, including Cabernet Franc\, Cabernet Sauvignon\, Carignan\, Dolcetto\, Graciano\, Merlot\, Mourvèdre\, Petit Verdot\, Tannat\, Tempranillo\, and Teroldego. \n\n\n\nFollowing the cultivation of these grape varieties\, we engage in the skilled crafting of these grapes into varietal wines using all of these grapes. Also creating our collection of five red wine blends. All of this is orchestrated for your ultimate delight. \n\n\n\nYou have the option to select from dry\, sweet\, or semi-sweet red wines. This annual event falls on the last Thursday of August and serves as a tribute to the varietal’s rich history and bold characteristics. Cabernet Sauvignon\, known for its deep red hue and distinctive flavors of dark berries\, oak\, and spice\, continues to be a beloved choice among wine lovers. It can be enjoyed on its own or paired perfectly with a variety of dishes\, making it a versatile option. \n\n\n\nIn recent years\, Texas has emerged as a notable producer of excellent Cabernet Sauvignon. As our 2017 Dugout (read about its awards here) which was a Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon\, Merlot\, Cabernet Franc\, and Petit Verdot. This oak aged wine is bold and complex like the frontier. This wine won the top Texas wine at the Houston Live Stock and Rodeo International Wine Competition in 2020 and then in 2021 the Top Texas Red wine at the San Antonio Livestock and Rodeo Wine Competition. \n\n\n\nThe day’s festivities see gatherings across the nation\, where people come together to share their appreciation for this evolving wine.
