DESCRIPTION:Do you know what wines you like?Discover your wine palate with our wine education class focused on discovering your palate and personalized flavor profile!  \n\n\n\nWine tasting is a fascinating journey that allows you to explore your senses and preferences. In this class\, you will cover the basics of wine tasting and understanding your own palate better. Throughout the class\, you will engage in interactive tastings\, discussions\, and exercises to enhance your understanding and appreciation of wine.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRemember\, tasting wine is a subjective experience\, so embrace your own unique preferences and enjoy the exploration of your unique palate! \n\n\n\nThis class will be available on the first and second Sundays for the month of September at 6:30 pm in our Grapevine location.Make your reservation today. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEach month you will focus on a different aspect of our wine profile quiz to help you discover which wines to explore next. Those aspects include: sweetness\, intensity\, fruit\, oak\, spice\, floral\, acidity\, and minerality. \n\n\n\nSo\, take the class each month to learn more about tasting wine. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFruit for August\n\n\n\nThe month of September will focus on “fruit”. Wine flavors come from aroma compounds —stereoisomers\, as scientists call them— that are released during fermentation. This is why when you smell wine\, the alcohol volatilizes (evaporates into the air) and carries these lighter-than-air aroma compounds into your nose.  \n\n\n\nEach wine can contain hundreds of different aroma compounds and each compound can have a different effect on the wine’s flavor. Our brains have multiple response to one stereoisomer. For example\, the lychee fruit flavor in Gewürztraminer can also smell like roses. \n\n\n\nLearn more about the concept of fruit in wine while exploring 100% Texas grown wines produced by the Bingham team.  \n\n\n\n\nChoose your Wines by flavor\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere is no app to download\, you will view the quiz in a web page which will take you directly to the wines you choose on our web site for easy purchase whether you choose to pickup at one of our locations or have them shipped to you. \n\n\n\nIf you can’t make it to Grapevine for the class\, sign up for our newsletter where we give you information on the flavor aspects each month.
