It’s here today: National Rosé Day! You can celebrate the day with our 2014 High Plains Sunset Rosé!
Our dry rosé is made from Mourvèdre grapes grown in our vineyard on the High Plains of Texas. It has a distinct flavor of strawberry and a pleasant dark cherry aroma.
The story behind the name is that the wonderful color of the wine reminds us of the gorgeous sunsets we see on the flat terrain and clear skies on the High Plains.
You can buy it today at our Grapevine tasting room or in Lubbock at Market Street, Quaker and 19th. If they don’t carry our wines or our dry rose at your local Market Street or HEB, then kindly let the wine manager there know that you would like to be able to buy it there.
Also a quick up date on the vineyards at this time …
They are looking good. We have had several good rains in the last few weeks. The vineyards as well as the row crops of organic peanuts and cotton are looking good.
No hail damage to speak of, thanks be to God.
These photos were taken about a week ago, but fruit set, as you can see, has definitely begun.
So, let’s celebrate the great spring with Rosé, especially a Bingham one.
