Shipping & Delivery Policy
Adult Signature Required
All wine shipments require an adult signature (21 years of age or older) upon delivery in accordance with federal and state laws.
Please ensure that someone 21 or older is available to receive the shipment at the delivery address.
Shipping Responsibility
Once an order is processed and released to FedEx, UPS, or another common carrier, title and responsibility for the shipment transfer to the purchaser.
Bingham Family Vineyards is not responsible for:
- delivery delays caused by the carrier
- failed delivery attempts
- packages returned due to customer action or inaction
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete shipping information
- Ensuring someone 21 years of age or older is available to sign for delivery
- Retrieving packages held at a FedEx or UPS Access Point or other carrier location within the designated hold period
Temperature and Weather Considerations
Wine is a perishable product and may be sensitive to extreme temperatures during transit. To help protect the quality of the wine, customers may request 2-Day Air shipping for an additional charge.
During periods of extreme heat or cold, Bingham Family Vineyards may delay shipments until weather conditions are suitable for safe transport. These weather holds are intended to protect the quality of the wine.
If a customer chooses to ship during periods of extreme temperatures, Bingham Family Vineyards cannot guarantee the condition of the wine upon arrival. Customers are responsible for selecting an appropriate shipping time and ensuring that someone 21 years of age or older is available to receive the shipment promptly.
Bingham Family Vineyards is not responsible for weather-related damage when a shipment is released at the customer’s request.
Returned Shipments
Shipments may be returned to the winery for several reasons, including:
- Failed delivery attempts
- Failure to pick up the shipment from a carrier hold location
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address
- Refusal of shipment by the recipient
If a shipment is returned to us for any of these reasons, the customer is responsible for:
- The actual outbound shipping cost incurred by Bingham Family Vineyards (even if shipping was discounted or offered as a promotion)
- Return shipping charges incurred by the carrier
- A 20% restocking fee
