I think I kept my promises well enough. But really this is long enough, it isn’t an announcement anymore it is just – well – history. When Savannah found out that she was going to be on TV, that was OK with her, but I wasn’t allowed to tell anyone that she was going to be on TV. I told her that I wouldn’t tell anyone except the grandparents because the rules are – that you always have to tell the grandparents.
Then the morning that she was on, just minutes before she went on, I put on facebook that she was going to be on TV. She was actually wanting to do it herself, but she had her hands full at that point doing a sound test. But, I could do it from my phone just watching her get ready. Anyway she did great.

Here they are filming the Fox 34 morning news program last Thursday. They were promoting the Carol-o-gram fundraiser that the members of the Lubbock Youth Symphony are doing as a fundraiser. Also on Tuesday night the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra will be having a brass ensemble in their Holiday Chamber Concert (www.lubbocksymphony.org) . There will be Traditional Carols & Holiday Favorites. There are tickets on sale and maybe even some half price tickets left.
