Yes, we are so excited and so honored that we have won our first double gold medal for one of our wines! We recently won 23 medals with our wines at the 2019 San Antonio Livestock & Rodeo Wine Competition.
The San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. (S.A.L.E.) is “A volunteer organization that emphasizes agriculture and education to develop the youth of Texas.” For over 69 years, S.A.L.E. has supported Texas youth by providing a venue for competition and a market for their junior agricultural and livestock projects.
To date, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo’s educational commitment exceeds $198 million with $12 million committed in 2018 in the form of scholarships, grants, endowments, auctions, a calf scramble program and show premiums paid to youth. Over 9,100 Texas college students have now benefited from the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Scholarship Fund. Proceeds from the Wine Events benefit the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Scholarship Fund with a portion for the advancement of Viticulture.
Our wines will be a part of the story to raise more scholarship dollars at the upcoming auction, so SAVE THE DATE, Thursday, November 15, 2018.
