Throughout this self-guided event, guests will enjoy either a behind-the-scenes barrel tasting or a thoughtfully paired bite and wine experience at each participating winery. It’s a unique opportunity to discover how wine is crafted, explore new flavors, and experience the hospitality that makes the Texas Hill Country one of the nation’s most exciting wine destinations.

During Barrels & Bites, we invite you to stop by Bingham Family Vineyards in Hye for a featured wine and bite pairing highlighting our 100% Texas-grown, estate-crafted wines.
Our winemaker, Rogelio “Ro” Orocio, will be on hand throughout the event to share insights into our winemaking process and answer questions about the wines being featured. Whether you’re curious about grape growing, blending decisions, or what happens between harvest and bottling, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet one of the people behind the wines.
We’ll have a special tasting of 2024 Cloudburst, 2025 Albariño, 2025 High Plains Sunset Rose, 2021 Reserve Merlot, 2021 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. At the Friday Night Grand Tasting, Ro will serve our 2025 Rosé of Sangiovese.
