Wine tasting is a fascinating journey that allows you to explore your senses and preferences. In this class, you will cover the basics of wine tasting and understanding your own palate better. Throughout the class, you will engage in interactive tastings, discussions, and exercises to enhance your understanding and appreciation of wine.

This class will be available on most first, second, and third Sundays each month at 6:30 pm at our Grapevine location.

Each month you will focus on a different aspect of our wine profile quiz to help you discover which wines to explore next. Those aspects include: sweetness, intensity, fruit, oak, spice, floral, acidity, and minerality.
So, take the class each month to learn more about tasting wine.
Intensity for August
The month of August will focus on “intensity”. Intensity related to appearance and aroma. When evaluating appearance, intensity describes the concentration of color. The more concentrated and opaque a wine’s color, the higher its intensity. Common descriptors for color intensity are pale, medium or dark.
