Texas Wine and Grape Growers (www.txwines.org) is having their 2010 Annual Conference in Richardson, Texas at the Renaissance Hotel. This event is just a great time where wine makers and grape growers get together to learn and discuss new ideas. The dates are the 18th, 19th, and 20th of February. Early bird member registration ends on the 5nd of February.
The schedule is here. Speakers for the conference are going to be an interesting assortment. Craig Root, Russ Kane, Dr. John Nielson-Gammon, Jeff Siegel, and more. Well actually, I think that Craig Root is actually going to be telecast live to us over a big screen, but we will be hooked up by telephone so that we can ask questions and such. There is also going to be a bunch of interesting exhibitors in the hall. Tasting wine, walking around visiting, looking at booths. Sounds like fun.
There is alway great dining with wine paired meals and lots more fun. Maybe I’ll get some great pictures of some of the wine pairings. Cliff and I get to go to Richardson and preview (hopefully that means taste) some of the pairings real soon. I can’t wait.
Make your reservations soon!
Blessings, Betty
