Included with your Barrels & Bites ticket, the Grand Tasting brings together wineries from across the Texas Hill Country for a relaxed evening of wine tasting and conversation. Meet winery representatives, discover new favorites, and begin your weekend immersed in one of the nation’s most exciting wine regions.
Hosted at Ron Yates Winery in Johnson City, the event takes place from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, June 12, providing the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow wine lovers before exploring participating wineries throughout the weekend.

Food will be available for purchase on site.
Continue Your Weekend at Bingham Family Vineyards
After the Grand Tasting, continue your Barrels & Bites experience with a visit to Bingham Family Vineyards in Hye. During the weekend, guests will enjoy a featured wine and bite pairing highlighting our 100% Texas-grown, estate-crafted wines.
Our winemaker, Rogelio “Ro” Orocio, will be available to share insights into the winemaking process and answer questions about the wines featured during the event. He will be serving our 2025 Rosé of Sangiovese.
