We are excited to announce that our Cloudburst has been recognized as one of the top Texas wines for 2015 by Texas Monthly!
From one of the state’s largest grape growers, the Bingham Family has supplied many of Texas’ top wineries with grapes for more than ten years. This year, they turned their attention towards winemaking as well. This happy blend of their most notable white grapes includes Trebbiano, Vermentino, Roussanne, Chardonnay, and Viognier. Aromas of green apple and lemon zest lead while a bright minerality pervades.
A list of the best Texas wines released this year, including the top reds, whites, and rosés you should be tasting right now.

Our Cloudburst is a dry white wine blend of Trebbiano, Vermentino, Roussanne, Viognier, and Chardonnay with a medium body ending with a hint of apple. We chose that name because in the High Plains we have a very dry climate, but when rain comes it very often comes quickly and yet in a very refreshing way.
Other awards that Cloudburst has won include:
Top of Class, Silver medal, 2016 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Wine Competition
Silver medal, 2016 Houston International Livestock & Rodeo Wine Competition
Silver medal, 2016 TWGGA International Lone Star Wine Competition
3rd Place Grapefest People’s Choice award, Grapevine, Texas in the white blend division
You can buy our wine here on our web site, at our Grapevine tasting room, at our Meadow Winery, as well as various retail stores around the state.
Blessings,
Betty
