Vineyards after the April freeze
These photos are a little late, but I thought I would still share them with you. These are our vineyards on May 12th. The vineyards were recovering from a freeze that occurred on April 15th, but were recovering well.
One lonely cotton plant
One lonely cotton plant in a West Texas vineyard… This really is a strange site. First all most of the plants you see here are grape vines. Dormant from the winter, the plants look like sticks without leaves on them tied to metal and bamboo poles and wires. But then … there it is ……
Blake Eddie Scholarship Wine at HEB
Blake Eddie Bingham is remembered for his spirited contribution to the Texas wine industry and Bingham Family Vineyards. The Binghams along with partner HEB will honor his legacy and benefit the Texas wine industry through the Blake Eddie Scholarship for enology and viticulture students. Part of the proceeds from wine sales fund the scholarship, advancing Blake’s impact on Texas winemaking.
