Blake Eddie Bingham
Blake Eddie Bingham was the fifth child of Cliff and Betty Bingham, owners and founders of Bingham Family Vineyards. As a member of the family business, Blake inspired others with his kindness and curiosity. A bright ray of sunshine that shone happiness and joy to everyone in his world, Blake strove to bring people together in friendship and community.
Blake worked alongside his father and siblings on the farm and in the vineyards. Driving tractors and nurturing the vines was a life that he loved. Blake died at age 30 from Covid, but our memories of him bring us joy. Blake truly was a part of Texas wine history and the humble tale of Texas wines.
A portion of the proceeds of this project go directly towards improving the Texas wine industry through educational access and support. Just as Blake, himself, gave back to everyone around him during his life.
Join HEB, Serendipity Wines, and Bingham Family Vineyards in supporting viticulture and enology students in Texas through the Blake Eddie Scholarship.
Bingham Family Vineyards along with Texas Hill Country Wineries established the Blake Bingham Memorial Scholarship in 2021 which awards ambitious and hard-working students studying enology and viticulture.
HEB is partnering with us to share a portion of the proceeds from this wine sale to help fund this scholarship.
